I have extensive experience in contract management, quantity surveying and construction project management which has provided a solid foundation for my expertise in contract advisory services, construction claims and dispute resolution on projects, local and global.

Holding membership of internationally recognised professional bodies such as the RICS, CIArb and ICCP, demonstrates my strong commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards and codes of conduct which ensures client confidence in what to expect when they hire a professional external consultant for advice.

I am a Chartered Surveyor, Arbitrator, and Construction Claims Consultant with over 30 years’ experience advising on complex construction projects and disputes across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Asia-Pacific.

I specialise in construction claims, contract advisory, and dispute resolution, supporting contractors, developers, and project stakeholders in managing risk and navigating complex contractual issues. My background combines construction practice, claims expertise, and legal training, allowing me to bridge the gap between project teams and legal advisors.

3. Experience

I have held senior commercial and project roles with leading firms in Spain, Italy, Gibraltar, and Vietnam, progressing from Quantity Surveyor to Project Manager, Contract & Claims Manager, and Commercial Director.

My experience spans residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial developments, including complex claims, delay and disruption matters, contractual risk management, and dispute resolution. I have advised on projects across multiple jurisdictions, working in diverse contractual and regulatory environments.

4. Professional Involvement

I am an active member of the Society of Construction Law and contribute to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process as a chairman, assessor, and counsellor.

I also deliver contract management training, sharing practical expertise in managing complex contractual relationships and claims.
