I am a Chartered Surveyor and Construction Claims Consultant with over 30 years of professional experience in the construction sector in consulting, contracting, and development roles, with a deep understanding of the technical, commercial and contractual complexities and risks from the unique perspectives of all stakeholders. I have extensive experience in contract management, quantity surveying and construction project management which has provided a solid foundation for my expertise in contract advisory services, construction claims and dispute resolution on projects, local and global.
Holding membership of internationally recognised professional bodies such as the RICS, CIArb and ICCP, demonstrates my strong commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards and codes of conduct which ensures client confidence in what to expect when they hire a professional external consultant for advice.

As an experienced construction professional, I hold the prestigious Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, demonstrating my expertise in dispute resolution. Additionally, my membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Institute of Construction Claims Practitioners underscores my deep understanding of the construction industry and my ability to navigate complex legal and contractual matters.
With a strong foundation in construction management, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Reading, UK. My expertise is further enhanced by a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from UCEM, a renowned institution in the field. Notably, I have also completed the RICS Diploma in Arbitration, demonstrating my advanced knowledge and skills in dispute resolution within the construction industry.
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, I have held senior roles in renowned companies in Spain, Italy, Gibraltar, and currently in Vietnam. Starting as a Quantity Surveyor, I progressively advanced to Project Manager, Contract & Claims Manager, and Commercial Director. My expertise spans various project types, including residential, commercial, transport and infrastructure across Europe, MENA and APAC regions.
I am actively involved in the construction industry beyond my core role. As a member of the Society of Construction Law, I stay abreast of legal developments and industry best practices. My commitment to professional development is evident through my involvement in the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process, where I serve as a chairman, assessor, and counselor. Additionally, I share my expertise as a contract management trainer, helping others to navigate complex contractual relationships. My knowledge of construction and building execution is further enhanced by my registration in Spain as a Technical Architect.
